This quaint village on the south coast of Western Australia blessed by a moderate climate, its proximity to stunning Southern Ocean beaches and the big tingle tree forests of the South West. Albany, the next bigger town, is only 50 km to the east. Wilson Inlet is a beautiful lake-like and well-protected lagoon which is particularly popular amongst keen fishermen and lovers of ‘all things watersports’! Since the town’s foundation in 1895 as a timber town it has also supported fishing, potato growing, dairy farming and fruit growing. Today wineries are very much part of the local economy and the tourist industry is a major employer in the region.
