Cascade Brewery

Cascade Brewery is Australia's oldest continuously operating brewery. Set in the rolling hills of South Hobart, the historic brewery is set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Wellington and surrounded by 250 ha of pristine forest. Its founder, Peter Degraves, vowed then to produce "genuine beer... beer that can not be excelled in this colony." Today, the company very much upholds this vision, producing premium beers of the finest quality. Cascade Brewery is located 10 minutes by bus or car from the centre of Hobart, making it a very accessible destination. Guided tours of the Brewery are available for visitors; the beers are available at bottle shops and restaurants around the nation.
