Barramundi Fishing
The rivers and waterways of The Northern Territory are filled with a wide range of fish species, best known is the barramundi or “barra”. With the exception of the “wet season”, barra can be caught all year round and they can be found in fresh or salt water. They live in a variety of places such as open waters, creeks, estuaries, billabongs and rivers; as long as they find rocks to hide behind, they can be found pretty much everywhere. A barramundi can weigh between 10 to 20 kg and can be up to one meter in length.
