Bells Beach
Bells Beach is labeled as one of Australia’s Best Surfing Beaches! It lies at the start of the Great Ocean Road and on Victoria’s South-West coast. Bells Beach is the home of the world's longest running surfing competition - the Rip Curl Pro Surf & Music Festival. Bells Beach is a small bay situated between two headlands with the combination of spring tides and a strong north westerly; the waves have been known to rise to eight metres. Everything about Bells Beach is heaven for the surfer and is definitely geared for surfing in regards to the shops. From the number of major surf manufacturers who base their global operations there, to the relaxed personalities of the locals; it's clear that Bells Beach is a surf town.
